OSXCrypt-6.2A and Source Code released

Ok, from now on OSXCrypt is to be considered fully complete in the features, including the change password one that was still missing.

You can download it now and you can even download the full source code if you wish to do a closer inspection on the internals of the implementation.

Even if this is supposed to be an alpha (may we say pre-beta?), considering the several hundreds of downloads and the complete lack of problem reporting please consider this to be a safe enough to use it, as long as you keep regular backups (but you ALWAYS do it, don’t you?).
Orlando is even more the man and the quality of this release is once again proof of that.

Happy Porn Secrets again, now with even more confidence!

Hi guys and congratulations for this release! Works really well. Is there a way to mount the volumes read-only for now - until the product has reached stable state?

Hello, great work! I’d like to write a little gui to provide a password entry. Is there a parameter like /p for truecrpyt, to set the password within the command?

Congratulations on a great start. I can’t thank you enough. Just a few observations.

    1. I had an existing TrueCrypt (Windows) volume without a .img extension. It did not mount properly. After using TrueCrypt (Windows) to create a Serpent-Twofish-AES volume with a .img extension, it mounted perfectly.

    2. Creating a large volume with OSXCrypt was very slow. Creation is faster in Windows.

    3. I wasn’t able to mount a hidden volume. Is this currently supported?

Again, thanks so much for your effort. This was just what I needed.

    Hello,

is there any way you can make a truecrypt browser feature that isn’t integrated into the kernel? I want to be able to put this app on my USB pen drive and access my files when i’m on a mac. Currently, you’d need administrative access to use this program.. Any ideas? Thanks..
