This is not a scam: Real Truecrypt for MacOs is here!

Ok guys, you accused us of cheating, scamming, phishing, terrorism and even stolen candies but at the end of it we’re OUT with the First OpenSource Platform for Volume Encryption on MacOs X (aka ‘Look, mom! Truecrypt on my Macbook!’).
Having the opportunity to not trust FileVault has never been so sweet…

So, thanks to the Funders (hey guys, you Rock. Really.) and thanks to the Staff (being Orlando Bassotto, Matteo Flora and Fabio Pietrosanti) now you can play with it. This is the REAL stuff.

Grab it in the Download page and if you wish look at the Tutorial.

Get ready and Happy Porn Secrets!

DIGG IT!

P.S.: Hey, OSS Community! After the source code release the OSX Framework will allow the implementation of a lot more file based encrypted formats (LoopAES, DMCrypt, Luks, PGP).

<trolling_mode>
P.S.2: Hey, where is Truecrypt 5.0 released in January? And where are the Forums on Truecrypt site?
</trolling_mode>

UPDATE: AptGetUpdate.de has already published a Tutorial!

    where is the source … it should be available according to the license.

    As stated in the Download page Source will be online at the first Beta. Spaghetti code right now, but you can ask for the source with a simple mail.

    This is awesome…but guys, honestly, nothing screams “scam” like somebody peddling security software and promising that it’s not a scam :(

    Especially when you post on FullDisclosure with “NOT A SCAM!” as the subject ; )

    Best of luck, though!

    @Wes

    Sorry, we did it for the LULZ ;)

    cool - I’ll try it out tomorrow and hope you release the Source Code. Your Video Tutorial mentioned already “Don’t Trust Him!” :-)

    The only that is missing is a nice GUI (but I’m sure others will take care of that).

    Great work!! - I hope it’s also running on PowerPC?

    btw: I think you should add a PayPal-Button here - would like to throw in a few bucks!

    @Phil

    If you need the sourcecode before the “polishing” just follow the indications in the Download section. :)
    Happy to know that the joke in the tutorial were seen!

    For the Paypal button you’re right, and the gui is on the way. A developer is already taking care of that either by releasing it as shareware ot by placing another bounty…

    Thanks for passing by!
